About This Site

To download material, move your cursor over the Library tab on the navigation bar and select the subject category you wish to view.  The document titles available in this subject category will be displayed in alphabetical order and will include a summary and file size information.  Click on the document title to download the file.

To upload material, move your cursor over the Add Documents tab on the navigation bar.  If you are a first-time user of the upload feature, you will need to Register.  Once registered, select Login to go to the upload page and follow the instructions provided.  Uploaded documents will not appear immediately.  NAGARA’s Professional Development Committee will review uploaded material and will release-for-viewing all material that is relevant to this site’s purpose.

Please be aware that certain document titles could reasonably appear in multiple subject categories.  A document titled Preservation of Microfilm might appear in the Microfilm subject category or in the Preservation subject category – or both.  If you are looking to download material on a particular subject, please consider whether or not that subject matter might appear in more than one category.  Similarly, if you are looking to upload material on a particular subject, please give consideration as to whether that document should be uploaded to more than one subject area.

Only documents in the public domain may be uploaded on this site, or copyrighted documents posted by the owner of the copyright.  Authorization for its use from the owner of the copyright will be required for our files.  Most documents created by government agencies or that are created by an institution or agency under a federal or state grant, are in the public domain.  If you are unsure whether or not a document is copyrighted, assume that it is and don’t upload.  Copyrighted materials that are uploaded, without receipt of appropriate permissions, will be deleted upon notice that such content has been posted.
