Historical Records
A number of the permanent records in the custody of government agencies contain information of historical importance to the community, the state, or the nation. They are associated with events that made a significant contribution to the broad patterns of our history, with the lives of significant historical personages, or that have yielded or may yield important information related to our social history. This subject area includes material on identifying and managing historical records as well as resources on teaching with historical records and improving access to historical records.
